      The CATALOG directory contains descriptions of the mission, the
instrument host (spacecraft), instrument, data set, personnel, and 
references for this archive volume. This information is also found in the
PDS Catalog. The catalog files have the extension ".CAT". They are ASCII text
files.

     The files are:

CATINFO.TXT

     A brief description of the files within the CATALOG directory
(the file you are reading).


DATASET.CAT

     A description of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter derived gravity data 
set.

DSMAP.CAT

     Map projection equations for use with the RSDMAP data products. 
Information in this file, when combined with map projection information in
the labels of the map data products, may be used to convert between 
latitude-longitude and line-sample coordinates in the map images.


INSTHOST.CAT

     A brief description of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter
and the DSN components.


MISSION.CAT

     A brief description of the mission.  It includes a chronology
of events, definition of mission phases, and science objectives.


PERSON.CAT

     A listing of key people involved in analyzing the gravity data
and in producing the archival data set.


REF.CAT

     A listing of citations for references mentioned in the catalog files.
     
     
RSSINST.CAT

   An overview of the spacecraft radio system used for Gravity Science on MRO,
and a summary description of the Deep Space Network instrumentation which
supports radio science experiments.
