Files in the EXTRAS directory are offered as a convenience to the user. They
are not necessary for the use and understanding of the data products in the
archive. They may not have PDS labels and may not be compliant with PDS 
standards.

The EXTRAS/SOFTWARE directory contains software to demonstrate how the
SHARAD 3D data products can be read. The software is available for 
use with IDL and Python.

The software in this directory is not maintained indefinitely, as the 
PDS is not a software archive. However, if you have questions about this 
sofware, please contact the PDS Geosciences Node at geosci@wunder.wustl.edu, 
and the node personnel will make every effort to help you.
