The file INDEX.TAB is provided to help the user locate products
in the SAM EDR data set. It is described by the PDS label INDEX.LBL. 
Both files are text files. INDEX.TAB has one row for each SAM EDR product
in the DATA directory. The columns in the row are fixed-width, separated 
by commas, with character fields enclosed in double quotation marks ("). 
Each row ends with the ASCII carriage return and line feed characters. 
The index table may be loaded into a spreadsheet program such as Excel 
for ease of searching. INDEX.LBL defines each column and gives its 
start byte, number of bytes, and data type.

The index table contains these columns:

1. Volume ID
2. Path name
3. File name
4. Product ID
5. Product version ID
6. Product creation time
7. Release ID
8. Start time
9. Stop time
10. Spacecraft clock start count
11. Spacecraft clock stop count
12. Planet day (sol) number
13. Observation ID
14. Solar longitude
15. SAM experiment ID
