This experiment was the second blank run using the pyrolysis oven. The
sample cup was not moved between the previous blank run, TID 25032, and
this run, so there was no oppportunity for repeated exposure to the
derivatization agent that contributed to the background in the previous
experiment.
There were no peaks identified in the evolved gas portion of this
experiment, although the background rose slightly during the run on
numerous m/z values, including those characteristic of toluene,
hydrochloric acid, and sulfur dioxide.
