This experiment was part of a series of drilled solid sample experiments, designated NS_TMAH, which was the second SAM derivatization experiment performed on Mars that used the derivatization reagent, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH). In this step, the pyrolysis oven was heated to an internal temperature of approximately 550 degrees Celsius to perform thermochemolysis with the TMAH reagent and thermally extract methylated products from the TMAH reaction. No "EGA" products are reported because of the difficulty in separating contributions from numerous isobaric interferences. These products will be updated if products of interest are identified in the future.
