This document, release_notes.txt, contains release notes and errata concerning 
the MSL ChemCam Passive Surface Spectra Bundle archive. It is updated if data 
or documentation in the archive are revised and/or added.

Section A of this document contains an entry for each release with general 
information about the contents of the release, in order from newest to oldest. 
Updates to previously released files are reported in these entries, along 
with any known errata.

Section B of this file contains general notes, if any, concerning the archive
as a whole.

Notes and Errata for Release 3
    - Some MSL ChemCam passive spectra files from early in the MSL mission 
were incorrectly processed into PSV files. This fed forward into corrupted 
RAD and REF files included in this archive. The affected PSV files will be 
included in the next release of ChemCam data (MSL Release 30, August 1). The 
RAD and REF files have been regenerated from an advance copy of those files
and are included in this release. These span the range from Sols 27-61.

    - The file you are reading, release_notes.txt has been added to the 
document collection of this bundle.
