Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) 2. Optical Microscope (OM) 3. Thermal and Electrical Conductivity Probe (TECP) 4. Wet Chemistry Laboratory (WCL). The AFM, TECP, and WCL are known collectively as the MECA Non-Imaging Instruments. This archive contains the raw data products from these instruments. The raw data products from the OM are in a separate archive (data set ID PHX-M-OM-2-EDR-V1.0, archive volume PHXOM_0XXX). Information about the MECA Non-Imaging EDR products can be found in the MECA Non-Imaging EDR Software Interface Specification (SIS) in the DOCUMENT directory of this archive. Information about the structure and contents of the archive can be found in the Archive Volume SIS in the DOCUMENT directory. File Formats ------------ The MECA Non-Imaging EDR data products are stored as binary tables with attached PDS labels. The labels contain identification and observation parameters associated with the data files, along with a description of the structure of the binary data. In some cases, the PDS label includes a pointer to a format file that contains column definitions (extension ".FMT"). These format files are found in the LABEL directory. Volume Contents --------------- The MECA Non-Imaging EDR archive volume includes the following files and directories.
