This release also includes calibration reports for the AFM, OM, TECP, and WCL components of MECA. March 19, 2009 Two of the three MECA calibration reports have cleared ITAR review and are now included in the CALIBRATION directory of the archive. The reports are given in Adobe PDF format, which can be read using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software from www.adobe.com. A detached PDS label describes each PDF file. The calibration reports include images, tables and graphs that are not reproducible in ASCII text or convertible to HTML, so no text or HTML versions of these files have been provided. Release 2, February 23, 2009 This release includes MECA Non-Imaging EDR (raw) data from the MECA components AFM, TECP, WCL, and their common electronics for sols 31-90. The calibration reports are still in ITAR review, and the software information and MECA WCL description documents mentioned below are still in preparation. They will be included in the third and final Phoenix release, scheduled for April 29, 2009. Release 1, December 23, 2008 As of this release the MECA calibration reports are in review for ITAR compliance. They will be included in Release 2, scheduled for February 20, 2009. The file SOFTWARE/SOFTINFO.TXT is incomplete. It will be revised by the MECA Team to contain contact information for those looking to obtain utilities to open or process MECA data products. The software utilities will not become part of the MECA archive. A document describing how the MECA WCL experiments were conducted is in preparation and will be included in Release 2.
