1. Turn ON TEGA – Call TEGA_power_on

  2. Warm up EGA: CALL tega_ega_emission_warmup (filament 1, calibration_set, high_current, mult_volt, four_volt, channels) 6 inputs
5.1.1. Note: IF pass through was selected as HIGH, calibration set cannot equal 3

TEGA Low-Emission Atmosphere Run

  1. Change TA_manifold and Outlet Pressure to timer1
  2. Change bus A and bus B current to timer 1
  3. Execute Sequence 24 B to increase readings on temperature regulation.
  4. Regulate TA manifold to +65C
  5. Regulate EGA manifold to +35C
  6. Calibrate EGA: CALL tega_ega_calibration_scans (set = 3, exit=3300 V) ) inputs calibration_set, high_emission, channels, scan_voltage, chan_four_voltage, exit_voltage
  7. Start Supermode 6
  8. Select oven for gas flow – TA0 (defaults to oven 0)

Briefly measure atmosphere on TA inlet

  1. Open TA Sample valve (to measure atmosphere)
  2. 15. Pause 1 5 minutes

Regulate whatever is in the manifold through TA 0

    1. Loop 15 times (should be 5 minutes total)
    2. 16.1. open inlet valve
    3. 16.2. pause 5 seconds
    4. 16.3. close inlet valve
    5. 16.4. pause 15 seconds
  1. 17. Close TA sample valve
  2. Open Outlet valve

Open the carrier valve

  1. Set valve pulse time to 4 mS
  2. 20. Loop 200 times (should take 17 minutes)

Regulate carrier gas with the inlet valve and measure gas composition

  1. Open TA sample valve
    1. loop 15 times (should be 5 minutes)
    2. 22.1. open inlet valve
    3. 22.2. pause 5 seconds
    4. 22.3. close inlet valve
    5. 22.4. pause 15 seconds
  2. pause 5 minutes to watch pressure rise

Clean up and shut down

  1. Close TA Sample valve
  2. Stop SM6
  3. Disable Heaters
  4. Close Outlet valve
  5. 28. CLOSE GEC Vent Valve
    1. Turn off EGA: CALL tega_ega_off
    2. 29.1.1. EGA Shutdown:
    3. 29.1.2. Multiplier Voltage OFF
    4. 29.1.3. Wait 5 secs
    5. 29.1.4. Emission Off
    6. 29.1.5. Wait 5 secs
    7. 29.1.6. Ion Pump Control OFF
    8. 29.1.7. Activate Sequence 7A to turn the EGA OFF
  6. Turn off TEGA: CALL tega_power_off
