Software and associated documentation which can access the IRTM               
data files on this CDROM are contained in the directories                     
[SOFTWARE.RAD...].  This material is largely identical to the XG              
software delivered to the Planetary Data System (PDS). The                    
software and the documentation contained here are those which                 
were available as of August 21, 1989. Later versions may be                   
available through the PDS.                                                    
                                                                              
The Radiometry Installation Guide is in

That file, and all installation command files on this disk, have              
not been modified from the version used for installation from                 
magnetic tape and magnetic disks.  Therefore, any system                      
installer must carefully check the directory assignments and                  
global logical assignments.  The number of changes required will              
be significantly less if installed from a root directory [RAD].               
The following table describes the Radiometry directories.                     
                                                                              
This disk does not contain directories that pertain to the                    
SPECIO spectroscopy analysis system.  Nor does it contain                     
executables of the XG software -- these must be built as
