Welcome to the Geosciences Node

The Geosciences Node of NASA's Planetary Data System (PDS) archives and distributes digital data related to the study of the surfaces and interiors of terrestrial planetary bodies. We work directly with NASA missions to help them generate well-documented, permanent data archives. We provide data to NASA-sponsored researchers along with expert assistance in using the data.  All our archives are online and available to the public to download free of charge.

Need a DOI?

We're working on acquiring DOIs for all of our data sets. In the meantime, if you need a DOI for a particular data set, please contact us.

August 3, 2020. MSL SAM EDR data for sols 2580-2713 have been posted.

July 31, 2020. Release 14 of MRO CRISM MTRDR and TER data is released, along with new TRDR browse and extras data products.

July 31, 2020. Data from MSL Release 24 are posted.

July 30, 2020. Lunar Space Weathering Maps from David Trang are released.

July 27, 2020. New Mars Odyssey Radio Science data are posted.

July 17, 2020. Version 2 of the MER Pancam IOF data set for the Opportunity rover has been released.
