Lunar Prospector Level 0 Data

The Lunar Prospector Level 0 Data Archive consists of a set of 19 volumes containing raw data from the three spectrometers, the magnetometer, and the electron reflectometer, along with ancillary files. The only processing done to generate Level 0 files has been to combine real-time and delayed playback telemetry downlinks to recover outages due to occultations or to select downlinks with higher signal-to-noise ratio. Each Level 0 volume contains one calendar month of data collected by the spacecraft. Every volume in the series contains a complete set of documentation files.

Derived data products for the spectrometers and the magnetometer and electron reflectometer, along with gravity data, are archived separately by the PDS Geosciences Node. Additional ephemeris data for the Earth, Moon, and Sun are available in SPICE format.

For an introduction to the archive read the AAREADME file or the Archive Volume Description file.
