The European Space Agency
Mars Express

The European Space Agency (ESA) Mars Express Mission consists of an orbiter and associated instruments.

The ESA Planetary Science Archive (PSA) is the primary source for Mars Express data and provides data search and download capabilities. The latest releases of data from the various payload elements, in PDS-compatible formats, can be found on the PSA.

Through a cooperative agreement between ESA and NASA, Mars Express data may also be distributed by the Planetary Data System. PDS copies of Mars Express data are available on this Geosciences Node web site and at other PDS Nodes as noted.  The Mars Orbital Data Explorer (ODE) at the Geosciences Node provides search capabilities for the HRSC, OMEGA, MARSIS, and PFS data sets.

The Mars Express payload elements and experiments are listed below. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator (PI) of a Mars Express data set when using the data in a publication.

The Geosciences Node hosted a workshop for users of OMEGA and HRSC data, May 21-23, 2008, at Washington University. Workshop presentations are available.
