MRO: SHARAD

March 1, 2012. SHARAD
EDR and RDR data for Release 20 are now online. This
release covers the data acquisition period May 9
through August 8, 2011.
|
SHARAD (Shallow Radar) is a subsurface radar sounder
that looks for water and ice in the first few hundred
meters of the subsurface of Mars. SHARAD data sets are produced by
the SHARAD Science Team based at the University of Rome,
Italy.
