MESSENGER: MLA

July 11, 2008. MESSENGER Release 3 includes MLA EDR data acquired from the second Venus flyby through the first Mercury flyby (June 5, 2007- January 14, 2008).

MLA is the Mercury Laser Altimeter instrument on MESSENGER. The data sets are produced by the MLA Science Team at the NASA / Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland.
