August 3, 2026.
MSL Release 42 includes new ChemCam raw (EDR) and
derived (RDR) data from sols 4710 – 4843, November
5, 2025 – March 22, 2026. The ChemCam derived (RDR)
data also includes the previously unreleased data

bundle.
|
ChemCam combines the LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown
Spectrometer) and the RMI (Remote Micro-Imager) to
analyze the elemental composition of laser-vaporized
materials from the surface of Martian rocks and soils.
