Magellan
Full-Resolution Basic Image Data Record (F-BIDR)
June 26, 2026. The Magellan F-BIDR
dataset has been migrated to a PDS4 bundle.
January 14, 2026. The Magellan F-BIDR
dataset has been updated. Additional F-BIDRs
were added to volumes MG_4103 and MG_4539. The
final cumulative index file was also
updated. |
The F-BIDRs are full-resolution images in the form of long, narrow, almost
pole-to-pole swaths. These swaths are pieced together to generate the image
mosaics (F-MIDRs, C1-, C2-, and C3-MIDRs) for easier viewing.
The original PDS3 volumes have been migrated
to PDS4. The PDS3 volumes will remain
available at the links below for the time
being.

PDS3 Volumes
The PDS3 F-BIDR dataset is stored on CD volumes MG_4001 through MG_4594. These volumes are
available online.
