Mars Pathfinder

Mars Pathfinder was the first rover mission to Mars (July 4 - October 7, 1997). Most data sets from the mission are archived at the PDS Imaging Node. Here at Geosciences we have the following Pathfinder data sets.

The Imager for Mars Pathfinder Stereo-Derived 3-D Position Data Set consists of tables of 3-D spatial coordinates of pixels in IMP EDR stereo pairs.

The Sojourner Rover observations from Pathfinder are summarized in a special product showing the rover site, traverses, and sample data products. This 226-MB TIFF image was created by the Geosciences Node.

Radio Science data acquired during Pathfinder surface operations are available.

The Mars Target Encyclopedia is a collection of Mars mission targets associated with scientific publications. Mars Pathfinder targets are included.
