RISE (Rotation and Interior Structure
Experiment)

InSight Release 17 includes a new derived RISE
bundle comprised of Mars rotation parameter and
lander coordinate data products. See the
Release Notes for details.

The RISE instrument uses the X-band
telecommunications capability of the InSight lander in
combination with the coherent Doppler tracking equipment
at the Deep Space Network (DSN) to perform radio science
experiments to determine the precession and nutation of
the Martian spin axis.
