MSL Release 42 includes new DAN raw (EDR) and
derived (RDR) data from sols 4710 – 4843, November
5, 2025 – March 22, 2026.
|
The Dynamic Albedo of Neutrons (DAN) instrument is a
pulsing neutron generator that can detect water content
in the soil and resolve water and ice beneath the
surface. DAN data sets are produced by the DAN Science
Team at the Russian Federal Space Agency and the
University of Arizona. DAN is a Russian Federal Space
Agency instrument.
