MESSENGER: MLA
May 12, 2017.
MESSENGER Release 16 includes revised MLA
altimeter profiles (RDRs) and a northern-hemisphere
DEM (GDR). It also includes a set of SPICE SPK
kernels supporting the navigation ephemeris
correction measurements performed by the MLA team
during the final months of the mission. See the
ERRATA.TXT file in the top-level
directory for details.
The revised RDR and GDR products in
this release are provided on a new archive volume,
MESSMLA_2101. This volume contains only RDR and GDR
products, plus the SPK kernels; no CDRs or RADRs.
The revisions are due to calibration and data
processing improvements; however, the previous
versions of these products will remain available on
volume MESSMLA_2001. See below for links to both
volumes.
