CheMin (Chemistry and Mineralogy)

MSL Release 37 includes new CheMin raw (EDR) and
derived (RDR) data from sols 4134-4257, March 23,
2024 - July 26,
2024.
|
CheMin identifies and measures the abundance of
various minerals on Mars using X-ray diffraction. CheMin
analyzes powdered rock samples generated by the rover's
drill and soil samples collected by the rover's scoop.
CheMin data sets are produced by the CheMin Team at NASA
Ames Reseach Center.
