CheMin (Chemistry and Mineralogy)

MSL Release 39 includes updated CheMin derived (RDR) data from sols
1426, 1472, and 1499.
|
CheMin identifies and measures the abundance of
various minerals on Mars using X-ray diffraction. CheMin
analyzes powdered rock samples generated by the rover's
drill and soil samples collected by the rover's scoop.
CheMin data sets are produced by the CheMin Team at NASA
Ames Reseach Center.
