Mars Global Surveyor:
MOLA PRDRs
April 27, 2007. This
release includes new data acquired by MOLA in passive
radiometry mode between January 1 and November 2, 2006.
All products in this release are version "D", generated
using improved orbit determinations. These are the last
radiometry data acquired by MOLA, as contact with the
MGS spacecraft was lost on November 2, 2006.
Precision Radiometry Data Records
PRDRs contain data acquired by the MOLA instrument
acting as a passive radiometer. After the failure of the
MOLA laser in June 2001, the instrument continued to
gather data in this passive mode. The data files are
time-ordered ASCII tables with detached PDS labels. A
detailed description of this product is found in the PDS
catalog description file

archive volume.
